In 1998, while studying medical anthropology, I went to Thailand for a few months. That journey turned out to be the beginning of the rest of my life!

In a Buddhist monastery where I lived among the monks and nuns and meditated for twelve hours a day, I gained life changing insights that gave meaning and direction to my life. I I also found a powerful healing art that I loved to receive so much that I decided to learn and master it myself. Over the years, both of those things proved to be invaluable, not only to myself but also to many others.

The two things I'm refering to are mindfulness and the Thai yoga massage. Back then, in 1998, I was mainly looking for something to hold on to and to help me become a happier, person, free from the depressions I had suffered from for a long time. Later, over the years, I was lucky enough to be able to share what I discovered and learned through my own search, with many others, both in the Netherlands and in Ethiopia and Kenya where I lived between 2006 - 2019 and where I mostly worked within the expat community.

In the summer of 2019 my family and me moved back to the Netherlands where I opened my practice in Hilversum.

I am looking forward to continue spreading the beautful things I found in Thailand in the Netherlands!

I am educated and trained as an anthropologist, educator, ACT coach, Happy for no reason trainer, Mom in balance trainer, Passion test coach and facilitator, MBSR trainer, stress councilor and of course Nuad Boran (traditional Thai yoga massage) therapist.

With love, Eva
